How to remove the gray background in Photoshop on Windows?

I construe that when you have a Mac and use Photoshop you do not have the gray background behind your project windows. What you see instead of gray is your credentials. Is it possible to do this on windows? How? I know pressing F on your keyboard gives

Concealed between three buildings nearby MIT’s Verdant Center, Sol LeWitt’s U-shaped 5,500 straightforward-foot terrazzo beat induction, “Bars of Color within Squares,” is yea a wonder not only to descry, but also to be trained.

The sophistication begins with the search to find the door outstanding to the atrium, which is tucked away along the aptly named Inestimable Hallway of MIT’s physics sphere of influence. Even for the brave wanderer, the thrilled door with the hanging chalkboard attitude mystic symbols and complex equations is utterly the achievement. Luckily, the vibrant colors from the terrazzo astonish keek through the door’s window, and a moment the passage doesn’t seem so unfathomable.
