I bought my dress boots online but they are honestly baggy at the ankles and I don't think they are supposed to fit that way. I ride hunters but I get done in of toting around my half chaps and paddock boots and I hate American football gridiron boots.

if they are the tear off on kind they have to be so you can get them on. If it bothers you you should take them to a shoe repair place and get a zipper tailored in them.They can take out leather in the ankle and they will be like a custom fit. If you
