The Downhill 2010  A Détacher garnering at Mercedes-Benz Mould Week featured 31 looks with a spontaneous and eco-amiable vibe.  I chatted before the show with the New York-based architect and possessor of A Détacher, Mona Kowalska.  The stimulus for this anthology lies in a made-up distinction the author calls Lady Redneck, who is “soign with a raw bourn”.  Models wore slouchy, comfy-looking cardigans, stockings, boots, and sweaters, but twisted up in fashionable ways that made them absorbing.  I fianc how the wool socks rind out above the knee-tipsy boots, and I even like the socks with the brown publish-toed sandals (wheeze!).
